First Impression of the 2023 Genesis GV60 Model Series

The year 2023 has got some good news for Genesis lovers. The luxury brand Hyundai has now decided to extend its lineup, by launching a couple of new models including the GV60 EV series. The all-new Genesis GV60 will come with some common attributes with Hyundai Ioniq 5 series as well as with the Kia EV6.

Expect this new Genesis luxury EV marvel to reach the prominent auto galleries like that of the New Jersey Genesis dealer by spring this year in 2022. People who are aware of the Genesis brand will expect this new luxury EV model to come packed with a more significant number of premium luxury features while having a more powerful performance ability than the similar luxury crossover EVs that could stand as its rivals.

Aerodynamic Design

The 2023 GV60 EV series from Genesis will come carved out of the famous G-Matrix design. As a new generation electric vehicle, the prime focus of the 2023 Genesis GV60 models will be squeezing out the maximum potential of performance from an aerodynamics design. To have an improved range of mileage and maneuverability, the 2023 Genesis GV60 models will use the advantage of a full-faced front crest grille bracketed by two lines of headlamps that are also common to other Genesis models. The GV60 EV series that is released for the year 2023 will also be the first Genesis EV model to have a wing badge perfectly redesigned to match the aerodynamic norms.

Power Configurations

The 2023 model year edition of the Genesis GV60 EV series has been announced to carry under its hood the same Platform of Electric-Global Modular system as in the Hyundai Ioniq 5 models and Kia EV6 ones.

But simultaneously, the 2023 model year version of the Genesis GV60 will also offer its buyers three potent options to power the vehicle trims. At the base, the 2023 model year edition of GV60 from Genesis will set up an RWD configuration which will also be considered as the standard, while the higher trims would aggravate its performance capabilities with an AWD setup. With the latter powertrain components working under its hood, the 2023 Genesis GV60 models will be able to reach 60 mph from a standstill within 4.0 seconds. As per the sources, the 2023 Genesis GV60 will also offer a fast charging option as they are seen in other Hyundai and Kia EVs.

The high-performing models of the 2023 Genesis GV60 series will be able to generate 429 horsepower when paired with an AWD configuration, while the lower capacitive trims would be able to move with 314 horsepower from a dual-electric motor with an AWD setup.

Even the lowest version of the 2023 Genesis GV60 EV model series will allow you to drive it with 225 horsepower even with an RWD configuration. They can cover a range from 249 miles to 280 miles, respectively.
